Small Communities, Big Ideas

CIVITAS is a city initiative founded by the European Commission in 2002 to promote more environment-friendly and improved transport in European cities and beyond. The network tests and applies urban transport solutions in more than 80 Living Lab cities throughout Europe.

The 15th CIVITAS FORUM Annual Conference will run under the motto of ‘Small Communities, Big Ideas’ and gather mobility experts, actors and stakeholders to learn about and discuss sustainable urban mobility. The event is a combination of presentations, interactive workshops and interesting site visits. In line with this year’s theme, the small city of Torres Vedras, a leading example in sustainable urban development, will be hosting the conference.

The conference will take place from 27-29 September 2017 in Torres Vedras, Portugal
